The new lounge is fully integrated with the New Integrated Terminal, which itself has transformed travel from Pune since becoming operational in July 2024. The terminal boasts:

- 34 check-in counters
- Eco-conscious infrastructure certified with a Four-Star GRIHA rating
With the addition of this international lounge, Pune Airport now significantly improves its capacity and services for over 10 million passengers annually, complementing the existing domestic executive lounge.

AAI officials highlighted that the lounge caters especially to increasing international traffic from Pune to regions like the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
