According to locals, the cow had somehow wandered into the building and climbed the staircase but was later unable to find its way back down. Alarmed by the sight of the animal stuck on a high floor, residents promptly contacted the fire department.

“We received a call around noon about a cow stranded on the second floor,” said Fire Officer Kamlesh Sangale. “When we reached the location, we found that the animal was stressed, and the staircase was too narrow to bring it down safely.”

After assessing the situation, Sangale and his team opted for a crane-based rescue. “We decided that using a crane was the safest and least distressing method for the animal. We secured it with a harness and carefully lowered it to the ground,” he explained.

The rescue drew a sizable crowd of curious onlookers, many of whom captured videos and cheered as the cow was lifted to safety. Fortunately, the animal was not injured and appeared to be in stable condition following the ordeal.

“It’s not every day we have to rescue a cow from a building, but we are trained for all kinds of emergencies,” Sangale added with a smile.
