Pune: Bomb Threat Hoax Targets Railway Station, Yerwada & Bhosari; No Explosives Found

Pune was put on high alert after Maharashtra Police received a bomb threat call targeting key locations, including Pune Railway Station, Yerwada, and Bhosari. The call, received around 9:15 AM on emergency number 112, triggered an immediate security response.
Authorities, including RPF, GRP, city police, and dog squads, conducted thorough searches but found no suspicious items. The threat was declared a hoax, though investigations continue to trace the caller and determine the motive behind the false alarm.

This incident follows a similar hoax in Mumbai on May 19, where a caller falsely claimed a bomb plot in the JJ Marg area. Mumbai Police have since registered a case against the individual for spreading panic.
