For the Ring Road, land acquisition is progressing in two phases. In Phase 1, covering Solu, Nirgudi, and Vadgaon Shinde, compensation rates have been finalised, and private negotiations with farmers are ongoing along with options like Transferable Development Rights (TDR). Phase 2, stretching from Nagar Road to Solapur Road, is expected to have proposals ready this week.

The Hinjawadi-Chakan corridor is also getting attention. Officials are reviewing land acquisition for proposed roads and are coordinating across departments to ensure traffic bottlenecks are cleared as soon as possible.

At Navle Bridge, where congestion has been a major issue, authorities reviewed land acquisition, shifting of water pipelines, and the installation of traffic signals. Dr. Mhase instructed that all essential work be completed by October this year.

The meeting was attended by Additional Metropolitan Commissioner Deepak Singla, Deputy Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil, Director Avinash Patil, Joint Commissioner Himmat Kharade, and senior officials from Pune Municipal Corporation, NHAI, PWD, and the National Highway Department.
