The discussion covered several key projects, including the elevated corridor on the Nashik Phata–Rajgurunagar road, alternative bypass roads in Chakan, and land acquisition proposals for stretches such as Balewadi–Shedgevasti, Surya Hospital–Thakarvasti, and Nande–Maan. Plans to improve traffic flow near Navale Bridge were also reviewed.

Dr. Mhase emphasised that work on land surveys and acquisition for the Ring Road project should move faster to prevent delays. The project is seen as critical to reducing daily traffic jams across Pune.

The meeting was attended by District Collector Jitendra Dudi, Additional Metropolitan Commissioner Deepak Singla, Chief Engineer Rinaz Pathan, Joint Commissioner Himmat Kharade, and senior officials from PMRDA, the District Collector’s office, Pune Municipal Corporation, NHAI, and the Public Works Department.
