PM Modi’s 75th Birthday: 1,000 Drones to Light Up Pune Skies in a Spectacular Aerial Choreography
Pune, September 15, 2025: Pune is all set to host a spectacular drone light show on the evening of September 17 to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday. The event, organised by Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol, promises to be a visual treat and marks a milestone for Maharashtra.
When and Where
The drone show will be held at S.P. College Ground and is set to start at 8 pm. It will be Maharashtra’s first-ever grand drone display, with 1,000 drones flying in perfect coordination to create dazzling patterns in the sky. Union Minister Mohol highlighted the significance of the event, saying, “This will be the first grand drone show in Maharashtra after Ayodhya and Varanasi.
With 1,000 drones flying simultaneously, Punekars will experience a breathtaking display of technology. The show will showcase Maharashtra’s pride along with the vision of a developed India envisioned by Prime Minister Modi.”

The celebrations will also feature a live concert by popular singer Avdhoot Gupte. His performance will kick off at 6 pm and go on until 8 pm, just before the drone spectacle begins.
