Milind Soman Runs and Cycles 600km from Mumbai to Goa in 5 Days, Redefines Fitness at 60
 
                Mumbai, July 02, 2025: Fitness icon Milind Soman has once again shattered age stereotypes by completing an awe-inspiring 600-kilometer journey from Mumbai to Goa in just five days. The 60-year-old actor, model, and ultramarathoner undertook this grueling challenge as part of the 5th edition of The Fit India Freedom Run, proving that age is no barrier to endurance and strength.
The Epic Journey: 600km in 5 Days
Starting on June 26 from Shivaji Park in Mumbai, Soman cycled 90 kilometers and ran 21 kilometers daily, mirroring the distances of a Half Ironman triathlon. His route traversed the picturesque yet demanding Konkan belt of Maharashtra, passing through Pen, Kolad, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, and Kankavli, before concluding in Goa on June 30.
A Test of Endurance and Inspiration
Celebrating his achievement, Milind shared an Instagram post, stating:
“Fit India Run started today! 5 days, 600km, Mumbai to Goa — made it more fun this time, doing the Half Ironman distances for running and cycling every day. 90km cycling and 21km running, with the best crew — @ankita_earthy, of course, doing the running segment with me!”
He added, “This kind of challenge is something I do once a year, just to make sure that everything is working properly. Some people tell me it’s inspiring them to do better, and to get fitter so they can enjoy life more — so that’s the icing on the cake. May every Indian be a Fit Indian. Jai Hind!”
