MHADA Lottery Pune 2025: Apply Online for Nearly 7,000 Affordable Homes by October 31
If you’ve been planning to buy an affordable home in the Pune region, this is good news. The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has announced its 2025 housing lottery, offering 6,968 homes across Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Solapur, Kolhapur, and Sangli districts. This includes homes under MHADA’s own projects as well as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
Out of the total, 1,982 homes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, while the rest are being offered through various reservation schemes. The lottery aims to make housing more accessible to middle- and lower-income families, and the entire process has been made simpler and more transparent this year.
The official launch was held at MHADA’s Pune office, where Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, Chairman of MHADA’s Pune division, and Chief Officer Rahul Sakore introduced the new system. This time, applications will be processed digitally, with mandatory Aadhaar and PAN verification through DigiLocker to ensure transparency and avoid fraudulent applications.

- PMAY scheme: 299 flats
- Reservation schemes (15% & 20%): 4,986 flats
- PMC jurisdiction: 1,538 flats
- PCMC jurisdiction: 1,534 flats
- PMRDA jurisdiction: 1,114 flats

- Apply online by: October 31, 2025
- Provisional list: November 11, 2025
- File objections by: November 13, 2025
- Final list announced: November 20, 2025
- Lottery draw: November 21, 2025
New Application Rules:
Applicants now need to upload Aadhaar and PAN details using DigiLocker. Spouses’ documents are also required. Updating and linking your DigiLocker account is mandatory before submitting the application.
