Mumbai, July 22, 2024 – The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert predicting active to vigorous monsoon conditions across Maharashtra over the next 4-5 days, with heavy to very heavy rainfall in several regions. The forecast indicates increased rainfall activity from July 23 onwards, driven by an Upper Air Circulation (UAC) over South Odisha and the likely formation of a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal by July 24.
