A shift in Maharashtra weather patterns is expected as a cyclonic system is developing in the southwest Bay of Bengal, likely to strengthen into Cyclonic Storm Senyar around November 25 or 26. A low-pressure area is already forming and may intensify into a depression by November 24, influencing parts of south and coastal Maharashtra.

Light to moderate rain is expected mainly in the Konkan belt and parts of Western Maharashtra. Interior regions, Marathwada and Vidarbha are expected to remain mostly dry.

Conditions in Pune

Pune will likely see dry and partly cloudy skies over the next couple of days. After 12 days of below-normal night temperatures, the minimum temperature has returned to normal levels. Shivajinagar recorded 14.4°C recently as per IMD data.
