Maharashtra Extends Deadline for Class 11 Admissions: Part 2 Submission Now Open Till 12.30 PM Today, June 7

Students yet to lock Part 2 of their online application get last-minute relief as the state education department extends the deadline.
In a last-minute reprieve for students awaiting 11th standard admissions in Maharashtra, the state’s Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Department has extended the deadline to complete Part 2 of the online application form to 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
The Centralized Online Admission Process for Class XI had initially closed applications on June 5, but officials noted that many students had locked Part 1 of their forms without finalizing Part 2. As of Thursday, 1,129,924 students had successfully submitted both parts, but thousands risked exclusion due to incomplete submissions.
The department has clarified that only students who locked Part 1 but missed Part 2 can avail of this extension. Those who fail to lock Part 2 by the new deadline will not be considered for the provisional merit list or the first regular admission round. However, students who have already locked Part 2 cannot modify their preferences now.
For those who missed Part 1 entirely or have incomplete applications, the department assures fresh opportunities in subsequent admission rounds. New applicants can register and submit both parts when the next round begins.
