IMD Predicts Heavy to Very Heavy Rain Across Maharashtra with Chances of Extremely Heavy Rain in Raigad and Ghats of Pune on Sept 26-27

Orange Alert Areas
The following regions have been placed on orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places:
- Entire Konkan region, including Mumbai, Raigad may even receive extremely heavy rain at some places
- Ghat areas of Pune, Kolhapur, and Satara, chances of extremely heavy rain in Ghats of Pune
- Marathwada districts: Nanded, Latur, and Dharashiv
Yellow Alert Areas
- Pune city has been placed under a yellow alert for heavy rainfall
- Rest of Maharashtra is also under a yellow alert, with the exception of Dhule and Nandurbar districts

What the Forecast Indicates
- Widespread rainfall activity is expected over two days
- Intense spells of rain may occur in isolated areas
- Commuters in Mumbai and Pune are advised to plan travel with caution
- Farmers in Marathwada and Western Maharashtra should stay alert for possible crop impact
