Initial reports from the Dehu Road police suggest that the accident may have been caused by poor visibility. Preliminary inquiries indicate that the indicator lights on the container truck were not functioning, making it extremely difficult for the car’s driver to see the large vehicle on the road in the early morning hours. The force of the collision left the students’ Swift Dzire car severely mangled.
Police officials from the Dehu Road station responded to the scene and have launched a full investigation to determine the exact sequence of events that led to this devastating accident. The community and the college are mourning the loss of two young lives in this preventable tragedy.
