Justice is Served! Operation Sindoor – Indian Armed Forces Launch Precision Strikes on Terror Camps in Pakistan and PoK

In a bold and calculated response to the recent barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Armed Forces carried out a precision military operation targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK). The operation, code-named ‘Operation Sindoor’, was launched in the early hours of May 7, 2025.
According to an official press release issued by the Ministry of Defence and posted on PIB Delhi, a total of nine terrorist sites were targeted. These locations were identified as hubs for planning and directing terror strikes against India.
The strikes were focused, measured, and non-escalatory. Importantly, no Pakistani military installations were targeted during the operation. India has reiterated its position of showing considerable restraint in the selection of targets and the method of execution, underscoring its commitment to avoid unnecessary provocation.
This significant step follows the Pahalgam terror attack, in which 25 Indian civilians and one Nepali national lost their lives. The Indian government had vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice, and today’s operation is seen as a firm and decisive step in that direction.
The Additional Directorate General of Public Information of the Indian Army confirmed the operation on its official Twitter handle, posting: “Justice is Served.” The nation has responded with widespread support, with many citizens and public figures expressing solidarity with the Armed Forces.
As per ANI sources, the following nine terror-linked sites were struck under Operation Sindoor:

- Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur
- Markaz Taiba, Muridke
- Sarjal / Tehra Kalan
- Mehmoona Joya Facility, Sialkot
- Markaz Ahle Hadith, Barnala (Bhimber)
- Markaz Abbas, Kotli
- Maskar Raheel Shahid, Kotli District
- Shawai Nallah Camp, Muzaffarabad
- Markaz Syedna Bilal
However, the public is strongly advised to avoid speculation or dissemination of unverified reports related to the operation. The Ministry of Defence has stated that a detailed official briefing on Operation Sindoor will be conducted later today.
To put rumors being spread by Pakistani social media to rest, the Indian government sources have mentioned that no IAF plane involved in “Operation Sindoor” was shot down or damaged during the retaliatory strike.
