Analysts like Ming-Chi Kuo and Jeff Pu estimate a final thickness between 5mm and 6.25mm, while Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggests it could be 2mm thinner than its predecessor.

The device is expected to feature a metal-and-glass build, possibly combining titanium and aluminum, while weighing just 145 grams—comparable to the compact iPhone 13 mini.

For the display, the iPhone 17 Air may sport a 6.6-inch OLED panel, positioning it between the standard iPhone 17 and the Pro Max.
