Indri, a single malt whisky brand from Piccadily Agro Industries, has been named the world’s fastest-growing single malt for the second consecutive year, according to the International Wine and Spirits Record (IWSR). Indri recorded sales of 2.04 million bottles (1.7 lakh nine-litre cases) last year. Of this, 1.24 lakh cases were sold in the domestic market, while 46,000 cases were exported, reflecting the brand’s rising international presence.

“This milestone validates our focus on quality and consistency,” said Praveen Malviya, CEO (IMFL), Piccadily Agro Industries. “Our ambition to be counted among the top global single malts is beginning to take shape.”

Indri’s portfolio includes expressions such as Indri-Trini, Indri-Dru, and the Founder’s Reserve 11YO. These labels have won multiple international awards, strengthening the brand’s credentials in overseas markets.

Industry observers say Indri’s rapid growth signals the growing competitiveness of Indian spirits on the global stage. The company has outlined plans to be among the world’s top five single malt brands in the coming years.
