Both NMIA and Mumbai’s existing CSMIA are operated by the Adani Group, which now manages the full aviation ecosystem of the city. Alongside the airport rollout, authorities are working on an “aero city” around NMIA. This commercial zone will follow global models seen in places like Dubai, Singapore and London, with the aim of boosting non-aeronautical revenue and attracting long-term infrastructure development.
