In a powerful display of national unity, over 10,000 organisations across India have registered for Yoga Sangam, a nationwide wellness initiative inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to integrate yoga into daily life. The movement, set to culminate on June 21, 2025, is poised to become the largest community-led yoga event in the country’s history.

During the 122nd episode of Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi praised India’s corporate sector for embracing yoga as part of workplace culture. “Some institutions have dedicated spaces for yoga, while start-ups have introduced ‘office yoga hours’—this reflects the private sector’s commitment to the nation’s health,” he said.

A Nationwide Celebration of Wellness

From the snow-capped Himalayas to sunlit coastal temples, over one lakh locations will transform into hubs of collective yoga practice on International Yoga Day. Participants will come together to stretch, breathe, and meditate in unison, showcasing yoga as India’s timeless gift to the world—a force for unity, health, and inner peace.
