IIM Mumbai to Open a Campus in Pune By 2026
Pune is set to strengthen its reputation as a premier academic and industrial hub with the announcement that the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai will establish a new centre in the city by 2026. Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol expressed his pride, saying, “Establishing an IIM Mumbai centre in Pune is a moment of pride. The Knowledge Corridor created between these cities will bring new opportunities for India’s industrial and academic sectors. This decision will give Maharashtra a fresh boost in world-class management education and open wider horizons for the next generation.”
The Pune campus will offer world-class management education, capacity-building programs, and executive training courses. Students and professionals will have direct access to high-quality education without leaving the city, strengthening Pune’s position as a key academic hub.
