Hinjawadi: PMRDA and MIDC Conduct on Ground Inspection and High-Level Meeting to Address Infrastructure Issues in IT Park

Pune/Hinjawadi, June 16, 2025 – A crucial inspection and meeting were conducted on Monday to address monsoon-related challenges in Hinjawadi, including water drainage, road repairs, and civic infrastructure. The inspection was led by Additional Metropolitan Commissioner of PMRDA, Deepak Singla, and MIDC’s Joint Chief Executive Officer Vijay Rathod, along with other officials.
The team surveyed Hinjawadi Phase 1, 2, and 3, as well as areas along the Hinjawadi-Shivajinagar Metro route, assessing drainage systems and road conditions. Following the inspection, a high-level meeting was held at the Hinjawadi Industrial Association, attended by key officials and staff.
Key Directives Issued:
- Dolphin & Sai Provizo Building Drainage: Immediate measures to ensure proper rainwater drainage near these structures.
- Debris Clearance: Swift removal and proper disposal of debris along Hinjawadi-Shivajinagar Metro routes and surrounding areas.
- Anti-Pollution Measures: Strict action against companies discharging polluted water into natural drains.
- Reopening Natural Drains: Blocked natural drains to be cleared, and drainage lines cleaned/repaired.

The meeting also emphasized the immediate implementation of decisions taken in the June 11, 2025, meeting chaired by PMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase.
