The complainant, 24-year-old Mayur Wagh from Thergaon, along with several other young job aspirants, said the company approached them with offers of lucrative annual salaries. Between December 2024 and August 2025, Flynaut reportedly conducted online interviews and training sessions over Google Meet. During this period, candidates were asked to deposit amounts ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh into the company’s Axis Bank account.

To build trust, the firm issued appointment letters, training schedules, and even paid partial salaries. However, after three months of training and nearly eight months of online work, the promised salaries were never paid. Instead, candidates were told they had failed internal assessments or interviews.

The complainant alleged that the company misused the money, totaling ₹17.16 lakh, for the personal benefit of the directors. Following the complaint, police arrested one of the directors, Upesh Patil, while the other accused remains at large.

Hinjawadi police have booked the accused under sections 316(2), 318(4), and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code for cheating and criminal breach of trust. The investigation is ongoing under Assistant Police Inspector Abhinay Pawar.
