PUNE – As the curtains draw on 2025, nature enthusiasts and civic activists in Pune are preparing for a final walk through the city’s “green lungs.” The Vetal Tekdi Bachav Kruti Samiti (VTBKS) has announced the year’s last #TekdiTrail, scheduled for Saturday, December 27.
This weekend’s trail focuses on the rich natural heritage and avian diversity of Vetal Tekdi. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the hillock’s ecosystem through the lens of birding, led by experts who will highlight the importance of preserving this vital urban forest.
