List of Acceptable Id Proofs for Voters
Election Commission of India (ECI) has released a list of 13 acceptable photo id proofs than can be carried by voters to cast their vote during Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
Election Commission of India has said that if you have confirmed your name in the voters list for upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, then you can carry any of the following listed photo id cards to cast your vote at the polling stations.

List of Acceptable Id Cards During Lok Sabha Elections 2024
Here is the list of 13 acceptable photo id cards that the voters can carry to cast their vote in the upcoming elections.
- EPIC/Voter Id Card
- Indian Passport
- Driving License
- Service Identity Card with Photo (Issued by Central or State Governments, PSUs or Public Limited Companies)
- Official Phot Id Issued to MPs, MLAs and MLCs
- Bank/Post Office Passbooks with Photo
- PANCARD
- Smart Card (Issued by RGI under NPR)
- MANREGA Card
- Health Insurance Smart Card (Issued by Ministry of Labor)
- Differently Abled Identity Card (UDID Card)
- Pension Documents with Photo
- Aadhar Card
Voters should note that they can cast their vote using any of the above mentioned photo ids. Make sure to check the validity of these photo ids (if applicable). Expired or invalid photo ids will not be accepted. Secondly, it is necessary to confirm if your name is appearing in the voters list.
