Pune, June 20, 2025 – In a significant move towards shaping the future of Maharashtra, the state government has launched a citizen survey as part of the “Developed Maharashtra 2047” initiative. The survey aims to gather public opinion, aspirations, and priorities across 16 key sectors to create a comprehensive Vision Document for the state’s long-term development.
Citizen Participation Key to Maharashtra’s Growth
Divisional Commissioner Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar has appealed to citizens to actively participate in the survey by scanning the provided QR code (available here) and submitting their feedback.
“Your opinion matters in building a progressive Maharashtra. This survey is an opportunity for every citizen to contribute to the state’s vision for 2047,” said Dr. Pulkundwar. He assured that no personal data will be collected, ensuring complete privacy for respondents.
Maharashtra’s Ambitious Economic Goals

To ensure inclusive and sustainable growth, the government has identified 16 focus areas, including:
- Agriculture

- Security
- Soft Power (Culture & Tourism)
