Central Railway Pune Division Changes Train Schedules From June to Improve Punctuality
Pune, 31st May 2025 – In a bid to enhance operational efficiency and ensure better punctuality, Central Railway’s Pune Division has revised the arrival and departure timings of select terminating and originating trains at Pune Railway Station. The new schedule will come into effect from June 1, 2025, with some changes applicable from June 7, 2025.
Revised Timings for Terminating Train at Pune
- Train No. 12127 CSMT–Pune Express
- Current Arrival: 09:57 hrs
- Revised Arrival: 10:00 hrs
- Effective From: Journeys starting on or after June 1, 2025
Revised Timings for Originating Trains
- Train No. 22148 Shirdi (SNSI) – Dadar (DR) Superfast Express
- Current Departure (Shirdi): 07:25 hrs
- Revised Departure: 07:20 hrs
- Effective From: Journeys starting on or after June 7, 2025
- Train No. 12126 Pune–CSMT Pragati Express
- Current Departure (Pune): 07:50 hrs
- Revised Departure: 07:45 hrs
- Effective From: Journeys starting on or after June 1, 2025
- Train No. 12128 Pune–CSMT Intercity Express
- Current Departure (Pune): 17:55 hrs
- Revised Departure: 17:50 hrs
- Effective From: Journeys starting on or after June 1, 2025
- Train No. 16381 Pune–Kanyakumari Express
- Current Departure (Pune): 23:50 hrs
- Revised Departure: 23:45 hrs
- Effective From: Journeys starting on or after June 1, 2025
Railway officials stated that these adjustments aim to streamline operations and reduce delays, particularly during peak hours. Passengers are advised to verify the updated timings before traveling to avoid inconvenience. No other routes or services are affected in this update.
