Bengaluru Metro’s Yellow Line Gets Fourth Train Set; Reduced Waiting Time from September 10
Bengaluru Metro passengers on the Yellow Line have some good news. From September 10, 2025, services will be smoother and more frequent thanks to the addition of a fourth train set on the route.
With this new train joining the fleet, the time between trains will be reduced. Instead of waiting 25 minutes, commuters can now expect a train every 19 minutes on all days. This change is designed to make travel easier, especially during peak hours.
The first train timing has also been updated. From Monday to Saturday, the first service will now start at 6:00 AM, earlier than the previous 6:30 AM start. On Sundays, the first train will continue to start at 7:00 AM as before.
The last trains from both ends remain unchanged – R.V. Road at 11:55 PM and Bommasandra at 10:42 PM.

BMRCL has asked passengers to take note of these improvements and make the most of the enhanced service. The metro hopes the shorter waiting times and earlier starts will make commuting more convenient for daily passengers.
