The QS World University Rankings use a methodology based on several indicators and metrics to assess university performance. According to QS, its rankings draw on data from 16.4 million academic papers and insights from more than 151,000 academics and 100,000 employers.
The assessment considers factors such as academic reputation, employability, student experience, international partnerships, research opportunities and teaching quality. QS groups these measurements into broader themes called lenses, specific indicators and detailed metrics. Different weightings are assigned to these areas to determine the final scores and rankings.
