Pune: PMC Reviews Metro Line 3 Roadworks on Baner and Ganeshkhind Roads

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has reviewed road development works in the city, with a focus on improving road quality, durability, traffic management and road safety.

A review meeting was held on Monday at the PMC main building under the chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishor Ram. Officials discussed ongoing road development works under Metro Route No. 3 on Baner Road and Ganeshkhind Road, along with pending works, traffic management, road safety and the quality of construction.

The meeting was attended by Pune District Collector Jitendra Dudi, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) Commissioner Abhijit Chaudhary, Additional Municipal Commissioner Pavneet Kaur, Additional Municipal Commissioner (Works) Omprakash Divte, Deputy Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil, senior PMC officials and representatives of Tata Projects.

The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of roadworks and identifying measures to improve the quality and long-term durability of roads in Pune.
