Pune Airport: Land Acquisition for the Upcoming Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Airport Crosses 75 Percent Mark

Pune, June 21, 2026: The upcoming Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, widely known as Purandar Airport, received an impetus as the land acquisition for the mega project has reached a milestone of 75 percent.
Pune district administration has organized a camp on June 22 at 11 am for the affected persons to resolve their judicial, quasi-judicial, and revenue cases related to the land acquisition. District Collector Jitendra Dudi will be the chairman for this camp.
This will enable to clear all the land related issues under one roof.
The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the development of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj International Airport will be ready by September 2026.
In the first phase a total of 3040 acres of land will be acquired.
The airport will have two parallel runways of 4000×60 meters and have a capacity of 75 MPPA (Million Passengers Per Annum).
