Dual Success on the International Stage

Competing against a formidable field of international riders, Limaye showcased exceptional versatility across two distinct categories:

  • CCI 4L (World Games Qualification): Partnering with D’Avril du Pinier, Limaye secured a 4th-place finish in a competitive field of 11 participants. This performance officially qualifies him for the World Equestrian Games, set to take place in Germany in August 2026.
  • CCI 3S (Asian Games Qualification): Aboard Willy Be Dun, Limaye navigated a massive field of 44 participants to claim another 4th-place finish. This result confirms his individual qualification for the 2026 Asian Games, scheduled for September in Japan.

A Journey of Excellence

Limaye’s rise on the global circuit is a testament to his skill and the robust support system behind him. He is currently supported by the Embassy International Riding School (EIRS), an institution pivotal in providing Indian riders with the international exposure and elite training necessary to compete at the highest levels.

Reflecting on his achievement, Limaye expressed his pride in representing the nation. “Representing India on an international platform and achieving qualification for both the World Games and the Asian Games is an incredibly proud moment for me,” he said. “Competing in Sopot against such strong international riders was a great learning experience.”

Impact on Indian Equestrianism

The significance of this feat extends beyond individual glory. Silva Storai, Director of the Embassy International Riding School, noted that Limaye’s success reinforces India’s growing footprint in the equestrian world.

“His achievement reflects the increasing global competitiveness of Indian equestrians and highlights the impact of sustained training and institutional support in shaping world-class sporting talent,” Storai remarked.

As the 2026 sporting calendar approaches, all eyes will be on Limaye as he prepares to take on the world’s best in Germany and Japan.
