Pune: Water Supply to Be Suspended in Several Areas on 18 September for Essential Maintenance

Pune residents in certain areas will face a full-day water supply disruption on Thursday, 18 September 2025. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that maintenance work is being carried out at key pumping stations and distribution systems. This includes essential repairs related to electricity, pumping equipment, and infrastructure.

The affected areas include parts of Parvati, Vadgaon, Rajiv Gandhi pumping station, Warje Phase 1 and 2, Chandni Chowk, Gandhi Bhavan, Pan Card Club, Warje water center surroundings, Ganpati Matha, Warje Malwadi, and Holkar water centers among others. The maintenance is being done to ensure better and uninterrupted service in the long run.

PMC has requested all residents in these areas to plan their water usage accordingly. The supply will be completely cut off for the day on 18 September. On Friday, 19 September, water may be supplied late in the morning and at low pressure, so residents are advised to be prepared.
