Pimpri Chinchwad Police Announce Traffic Diversions for Ganesh Visarjan 2025

Pimpri Chinchwad Police have announced traffic arrangements for Ganesh Visarjan processions happening on 5th and 6th September 2025. Large processions, dhol-tasha beats, and heavy crowds are expected, so diversions have been planned to keep traffic smooth and safe.

Dates and Timings of Restrictions

• 5th September 2025 – 2.00 pm to midnight
• 6th September 2025 – 2.00 pm to midnight

Key Traffic Restrictions

Bhoseari Traffic Division

• Vehicles from Khadki via Harris Bridge towards Fugewadi will not be allowed.
• Vehicles on Pune-Nashik Highway via Babar Petrol Pump are restricted under Bhosari Bridge.
• Dudulgaon vehicles are restricted from Old Moshi–Alandi Road to Havaldar Basti.
• Alternate Routes:
  • Grade Separator to Fugewadi Chowk
  • Shitladevi Chowk via Balewadi-Sangvi road
  • Bhosari Overbridge via Sadguru Nagar
  • Alandi-Dehu Road via Bharatmata Chowk

Talegaon Traffic Division

• Heavy vehicles are banned between Talegaon and HP Chowk.
• Light vehicles and two-wheelers are restricted from Vadgaon Phata to Indrayani College.
• Alternate Routes:
  • Vadgaon Phata – MIDC – HP Chowk
  • Ambethan – Navalakh Umbre – Talegaon MIDC

Sangvi Traffic Division

• Maheshwari Chowk to Constitution Hospital via Old Sangvi Road is closed.
• Several internal roads including Sai Chowk, Krishna Chowk, and Rahatani routes are restricted.
• Alternate Routes:
  • Maheshwari Chowk – Sai Chowk – Aundh village road
  • Kunal Hotel – Kalewadi Phata route

Wakad Traffic Division

• Sathe Chowk to Datt Mandir Road is closed.
• Vehicles should use Kaverinagar or Kalakhadak Chowk as alternate routes.

Chinchwad Traffic Division

• Ahimsa Chowk to Chafekar Chowk is closed on 6th September from 3.00 pm to midnight.
• Dalvinagar Bridge to Chafekar Chowk and Valhekarwadi T-Junction routes are also closed.
• Alternate Routes:
  • Link Road via PMT Bus Stop
  • Valhekarwadi – London Bridge – Ravet road

Hinjawadi Traffic Division

• Tata T-Junction to Geometric Circle and Shivaji Chowk closed for incoming traffic.
• Mezza 9 to Shivaji Chowk is restricted.
• Vehicles from Phase 3 to use Lakshmi Chowk instead.
• Traffic from Man village and Wipro Circle Phase 1 will be diverted via Tata T-Junction.

Pimpri Traffic Division

• Traffic towards Sarja Hotel, Pavaneshwar Mandir, Deluxe Chowk, and Bhatanagar is restricted during peak visarjan hours.
• Shagun Chowk and Karachiwala Chowk routes remain closed.
• Alternate Routes:
  • Vehicles from Indianoil Chowk via Lakshmi Chowk and Vinode Vasti
  • Kalewadi Bridge traffic diverted via Jamatani Chowk and Dairy Farm
