Pune Metro Urges Commuters to Avoid Mandai and Other Stations in Central Pune This Ganeshotsav

Pune Metro has announced temporary travel guidelines for commuters heading to the central peth areas during the Ganeshotsav festivities. Passengers using Line 2 are advised to alight at stations near Deccan Gymkhana instead of Mandai Metro Station to avoid overcrowding. Similarly, those traveling on Line 1 or Line 2 toward the central peths should get off near PMC Metro Station.

पुणे मेट्रोच्या लाईन २ द्वारे शहराच्या मध्यवर्ती पेठ भागात येऊ इच्छिणाऱ्या नागरिकांनी डेक्कन जिमखाना मेट्रो स्थानक या पेठ भागांपासून जवळ असणाऱ्या स्थानकात उतरून पुढील प्रवास करावा. मंडई मेट्रो स्थानकात उतरून गर्दी करणे टाळावे.

These changes come as a precaution, considering the large number of devotees visiting for Lord Ganesha’s darshan. Mandai Metro Station will have modified entry and exit points during this period, and commuters are requested to follow Metro staff instructions for a smooth and safe journey.

The temporary arrangements will remain in effect until 6:00 AM on 7th September, 2025.
