Pune: CM Fadnavis Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Pushpalata D. Y. Patil Hospital in Talegaon

Pune, June 09, 2025: Pune’s healthcare landscape has been bolstered with the inauguration of the Pushpalata D. Y. Patil Hospital, a 600-bed charitable multispecialty facility in Talegaon on Sunday, June 06th 2025.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited the hospital ahead of its opening, reviewing its cutting-edge infrastructure, advanced treatment systems, and in-house oxygen generation plant.
Commending Dr. D. Y. Patil’s contributions to education, Fadnavis stated, “He has led a transformative movement in Maharashtra’s higher and technical education, establishing seven private universities and high-quality courses.” The hospital is set to serve residents of Ambi, Maval, and Talegaon, including industrial workers.
Dr. Vijay Patil announced that 70 beds are reserved for patients under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, with 12,000–15,000 beneficiaries already treated. The hospital will implement Ayushman Bharat and Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, ensuring affordable care.
Named after Pushpalata Patil, the hospital embodies her legacy of social service and healthcare excellence, reinforcing the D. Y. Patil Group’s commitment to community welfare.
